See this is a problem.
I do not care about your specific stance on AI art but this lack of transparency by orgs and companies is a huge systemic problem that is inherently anti consumer.
If you do not want AI art that is your fair right as organizer of this event but do tell me what is stopping you from stating so openly and duly? Oh I remember... every set of rules or guidelines has to be maximum opaque so every decision regarding moderation can be made on a basis of selective enforcement. This might work in our favor in this specific case here but macroscopically it is a massive issue.
