It’s too late, even if the good conscience people want to shut it down or regulate it, it’s already too late, way past the turning point, there is no other way except to adapt , the gap is growing fast, suffering will be rampant. But I see also a chance in reordering the world to be better if the right leader is in control . So the good conscience people must win the AI race, to be the one in control. The rest of us who are mediocre , we will be in passive supporting role. People need to grow up fast( gone are the days where your kids can stay innocent and naive, too dangerous to stay in naive zone. Better equip the young generations with real world data , train the kids to be responsible people (to themselves also to others)
