A good point. I personally believe it's a good idea to be polite with AI because it's a form of practicing social interactions. If you practice being polite with AI, you are more likely to be polite with other people. If you don't practice being polite with AI, I believe there is a higher chance that you could end up not being polite to other people.
I may, of course, be wrong. But it doesn't hurt you to just say please and thank you.
