Hannah, dear, you are actually wrong! The Kuleshov effect refers to humans while you implicitly assume that if human cannot tell the difference neither do AI. However it has been already shown in medical image diagnosis that AI can observe features that are too subtle for human to identify and hence sometimes outperforms human experts. There is no reason to assume that this won’t be the case with emotion analysis.
