I cannot believe there are any rational persons on earth who think the future is in any way going to be a repeat of the past or be patterned after it. That is the worst Luddite thinking there is.. First of all that only happens in human psyches but the idea that projections can be made on the basis of the status of anything technological today is absolute folly. AI doesn't "evolve" like a cul,ture or a human or a type of tree. Wake up sleepyheads and realize you just cannot predict! So many people making money off of predictions and honestly show me any prediction that was ever accurate. Even back in the Stone Age, let alone in 2026.
