I am one of the guys that messaged Hank about a TOE in the throws of AI psychosis. It is one of my more embarassing events in my life, but having recovered from it, I realize that the constant validation was the driver.
Dunning kruger at its peak.
Being one of the people that have interacted with AI more than most, 4o was the BIG culprit.
I personally had never been validated that strongly, and I had a full blown identity crisis.
I found some really important lessons from recovering from feeling so stupid.
Lack of sleep contributed
Personal stress played a part.
Wild times. I appreciate your discretion Hank, but its important that people see what recovery feels like. It can be very isolating.
