If rich want control and all money / resources , enough they have robots working for them plus some smart super humans to correct and improve AI, till AI will be capable to find mistakes and improve itself. Need to keep humans alife, logically is not needed at all. I think some in power will prefer to replace humanity that is asking for salary or to pay social benefits with robots that consume and pollute less, are 100% predictable, dont get sick, can work better and faster.
