This episode just hit differently, gentlemen. The Dyson swarms, the sentience (and I’ve seen Sir Roger Penrose live twice), the personhood debate. Sometimes in your episodes, the material is covered quickly, and I lack the sci-phi background to understand all the references, but today the future unfolded before my eyes. The comment from the 92 year old listener was wonderful. My 84 year old mother in law is filled with fear and we spoke about AI this morning before I heard this episode and always says she’s glad she won’t live to see all this, but I say, when AI solves aging, you just might 😉
