This feels like sci-fi. But it's probably good to be aware that the US is investing a lot of money in AI and many of the CEOs of the companies that are building AI believe in similar abstract scenarios.
Over the next four years, the US will invest more in AI than it did in the first nuclear weapons and in getting to the moon together.
