As a queer person I belong to one of those underrepresented minorities. I'd rather cut off my left hand (I'm left-handed) then let an AI do the work for me. I write because I love creating. When I come up with a new worldbuilding idea (I'm a fantasy author) or new details about my characters or I come up with brand new characters it's incredibly thrilling. I'm currently only in the planning stages. I'm an architect, like George RR Martin would call it, so I want to know everything about my world and my story before starting to write. And yes, me being queer means that there will be queer representation.🏳🌈
I really like that you highlighted Daniel José Older as one of the authors who broke ties with this group. He's one of the Star Wars: High Republic authors. The High Republic is easily some of my favourite Star Wars ever.
