I'd would say that we coders are right there with you, but currently I see most of the juniors and I guess about 50% of the seniors being hyped about AI... I'm baffled. You'd think people passionate about becoming really good at a skill with a near limitless skill-cap like art and coding would be unmotivated as F*** with the possibility of being redundant soon... I love my craft and the skills I've acquired through school, work and personal projects has literally taken me from depression to feeling fulfilled and happy about life. Oh whale, gaming 24/7 with depression again doesn't sound THAT bad.
