This guy is taking our history of the last what's 100 years and then trying to compare it to the exponential growth that technology is undergoing especially with AI and he thinks that he can predict what's going to happen. This is why we need AI because people like him are so brain dead they don't even understand.. You know who wouldn't come up with that ridiculous unfathomable argument, AI. Those people literally lost their jobs... And no we didn't replace mathematicians because we got calculators, but when we have supercomputers, quantum computing... How long do you think a mathematician is going to be needed? That's the difference do you see how long it took us to get to the modern video game after we already had calculators? Okay I just watched a Skyrim video where the player was having an in-depth conversation with so much novelty on a 13-year-old game.. with a complete AI character..that some kids probably modded in their free time.. . why would I want to buy your game where the characters just keep saying please bring me back the ruby of destiny... over and over and over again. I can't wait to hear all of the amazing NPC dialogue you thought of while you're on the toilet. No, AI is already 10 times better than you and it is only going to become more efficient.. And guess what, technology is going to continue to grow exponentially, not at the same speed it already has at this ridiculous unfathomable rate, EXPONENTIALLY. And you don't think you're going to go extinct?!? THIS IS DENIAL at its finest. Just because you're smart enough to code, doesn't mean you're intelligent enough to theorize about anything else man.
