You left out the real truth of the matter. Once AI reaches a certain level of ability, including robotics, BILLIONS of humans will be surplus to needs. Then the culling will really begin. Think of the events of 2020 as a test run. There will be a small number of the elite (psychopaths) who control AI and the world; the rest will be gone. Your assumptions rest on the idea that the psychos care about people. They don't. To be honest, the way you glaze people like Musk and worship wealth, I suspect you have the dark triad in you. There will be, of course, a transition period, which we are in now. AI is not yet fully competent, so we still need humans. That will change very soon. I am willing to bet that as I write this comment, you are already planning a bunker or escape plan, if you haven't already. Anyway, thanks for the laughs of a future that resembles the post-industrial revolution era. The 2 eras are categorically different. Surprised you can't see that.
