Having the time to dedicate to getting good at art is also a blessing make no mistake. And some people truly no matter how much they practice will never be good at rendering and don’t share the same passion but still want to render thoughts and ideas. We need to advocate against the big wigs fucking artists over by training ai on their work and get them to just pay artists. There are ways to make generative ai ethical. People will never stop using it no matter how much they are shamed and no matter how much outrage there is against it. One solution is to pay artists what they’re owed and to push for regulations on generative ai and the companies that create it. People should be allowed to use ai to make art with no shame or stigma, and artist should be able to revoke permissions for companies to use their art and get paid if their work is used.
