AI will happen, that is just a fact. It won't go away. The question is how we can change society so that the fruits of AI go to everyone, and not just the wealthy. Its like a more extreme version of the digital revolution. Many jobs were lost in the computer age, but a lot were also replaced by new ones. That might not happen with AI. If the wealthy business owners can replace jobs with AI then unemployment will skyrocket and the wealth cap will become even bigger. I do think it will turn out alright eventually, the question is just how we get there. With the current path the unemployed and underemployed population will eventually become so large and angry that they will try to change the system by force, however that could take a long time. The alternative is that those with power are able to see this coming beforehand and change course, but with how clueless they seem to be I am not hopeful. Get ready for revolution I guess
