I want to believe in people who know how this can affect people and how it can affect people close to them. Once understanding is fully established it can be easy to simply avoid AI created content.
Of course, AI will make our lives easier, and I believe in that convenience but there is a price to pay and nothing is truly free. I try my best to avoid content read by AI-generated voices, art created by AI, companies that push for AI generated content and instead support genuine content created by people who put in the hours to create that stuff.
Albeit, I have now become more skeptical of the internet and it has become more frustrating (Pinterest, DeviantArt, Photoshop,etc)
I try to use more open source programs instead and hope they don't get bought or cave in using generative AI.
