It is the same with any tool. You can monkey around in photoshop without actually caring about what you create. When you take a photo on your phone because you saw a cat or something, that is also not art.
And conversely, you can use ai to fill in gaps in talent. I can’t shade for sh**t, and I have a family and a full time job, so the fact that an ai generator can make my sketch a nicely shaded is good.
