I think his perspective is wrong. The economics isn't easy, and what to do with our free time is not the problem. Participating in new hobbies and clubs is fun and easy. The entire issue is social relationships, particularly between the owner class and everyone else. We already could be all working 10 hours a week, and have better lives for it, a healthier ecosystem and climate, etc, but the billionaires won't allow this change, they keep us working. This won't just change with AI.
