teacher here, I have noticed that my higher achieving students use AI whereas the students who are not that interested in learning just don't. Its important to note I teach exclusively English. The reality, in my case, has been that the students who use AI are usually students who are interested in learning and most importantly understanding. The issue remains, students can and do use these bots to complete writing tasks etc but its easy enough to spot. There is no way to avoid AI, the best option is to education yourself as a teacher and show kids HOW to us it correctly.
