not an artist but just using logic, all art is based on other art with something added to it, also an artist learns from an other artist, so skills are build off from someone else skills, AI sadly does the same. Ai art is the future. and saying that ai just copy other work is the same as saying you learned from learning from a master (school or otherwise) i get it as you are an artist you feel that ai is going to take away work from you... and it probably will, its called progress. like robots in factory's replaced working people, art ai will replace YOU. BTW, the ai future is still looooong time away, its not going to replace you in this life-time that's for sure, but eventually it will.
