AI insofar is just outsourcing. However, tech is getting better. Automation will cut down on coding and IT jobs. It is also happening in the financial sector as well. The general advice is to pivot into trades and healthcare but therein lies a problem. The problem is not everyone is going to have a lasting career in the trades/manual labor. People have various breaking points. A lot of guys I know that are in trades have constant aches and pains in their 30s. If you cannot work a trade job or in healthcare, you will ultimately be doomed.
