My main passion in life is art. Simply creating more and getting better so I can create more are what drives me to enjoy living. That said I am not really worried by all the AI tech. I've been following it for years and I know how it works to a degree. It really isnt anything to worry that much about IMO. People seem to really make any kind of dilemma into an all out war with sides to pick, arguments about who's wrong and short-sighted comments about both from each other. But people are missing the point. AI is merely a powerul tool, and just like any other invention it will be used wrongly as well as responsibly. But it doesn't matter how good it gets, there will always be many people who prefer a human artist's work, because it's so much more than raw effort and a product. It's expression of creativity and emotion. Something AI may mimic, but without mimicking a whole persona behind it, it ultimately can never achieve the same effect. Yes, some artists will lose their jobs, because companies don't care. But that isn't anything new, nor is it a sign being successful enough for a comfortable life as an artist is impossible. Finding a job as an artist has always been tough, it's a profession that has never received the appropriate amount of respect. And people all over are losing jobs for many economic and otherwise reasons. That is no excuse to wail in anxiety and let yourself be down about it. Hold your chin up high and instead think about how you can better your life, because if you think something like this can ruin your life forever, that somehing lile this can keep you from following what you love doing most, then either you were never passionate about it in the first place, or you are a deluded fool who needs to show some self-awareness and kick themselves in the ass to start enjoying their life. And for god's sake stop making this into some two-sided conflict. Can't you see how ridiculous you're being?
