Everybody forgets that an economy requires consumers. If people loose their jobs and cannot consume, the tech companies will collapse. Deglobalisation, lower birth rates, boomers retiring, etc. are already reducing the number of consumers, which is why the whole world feels stressed right now. A.i. will only contribute by taking peoples jobs. But hopefully regulators realise this at some point and focus on creating more consumers.
