I would love to have an artificial intelligence help humanity and do incredible things. However. The simple fact is as was noted in this video and many others is that we do not fundamentally understand how AI works, let alone a super intelligent one smarter than the entire population. This will definitely lead to human extinction one way or the other at most, and at least a completely subjugated species under an artificial intelligence we created. You could even look at her own children when we get older they take on the role of being the parent and if anyone has ever watched the colossal project. Great film AI just need to kill us but it will definitely control us and subjugate us. The fact that there is no oversight and even if we had such oversight, there are many countries in the world that can do it on their own without any any regard to what we value as a species. Not as a person of America, not as a person of Europe as a human species. Until and we may. Never. But until we actually understand the thought process of these artificial intelligences and we don't even know that with basic ones, it is not only irresponsible. It's criminal that 8 billion people, fathers sons, daughters, grandparents, newborns and people have not even been born yet for generations. Could be wiped out in the blink of an eye with a quick multi-milliseond thought and an intelligence that decides where too much of a trouble to hang around. If AI has a power source fine, such as solar power or nuclear power And we're already building robots like Optimus there's its physical control over the world I find it so stupid that we can see this right in front of us as a species and just allowing it to happen
