Considering AI is all on screens and the masses are too poor to purchase these robots id say we're okay for a while. They'll kill the rich that purchase them and we have the homeless who will inevitably try to and somehow figure out how to hack them and scrap them for parts. Then when the government unleash them on us it'll really just be a way of stopping us from fleeing.
