I'm legally blind, and getting worse everyday. I was an artist, but one day i gave up when i couldn't tell if i had drawn a single line or two anymore. I agree with most of your argumments, but i see AI art as cheaper in money and time than real art. I don't really use AI, mostly i use it as a tool for organizing stuff, or creating art for personal use, and sometimes it's easier to create an specific image than trying to find what i need. Not only that, as artists we know how much time we had to dedicate learning to be able to draw what we want, and not everyone have time to do it, or money to hire artists to do it for them.
Now, i agree companies shouldn't use AI, they have the resources for this
