Let’s evaluate this. The Calculator was a big shift, but it was a one order shift. since the creation it barely improved. It’s still on the same s curve.
When farming switched to tractor and tools, it was again one order change. Not much improvement since.
After the one order, it did shift people jobs. But it still created stability after the one order was done.
However, AI is jumping from S curve to S curve and driving up the order stack. This will create instability. Unless we stop and hold what we have for ten years for people to adjust.
Note: soon as one AI replaces a job and people shift to the new shiny thing, AI eats that too and leave those people on the endless search. To be honest it feels like we will be come miners of AI importance. AI sees where people flock and it seeks to automate that task.
Idk I saw this and thought people should understand the gravity and think of ways other than just assuming they will be 5x faster.
