I use chat-gpt, deepseek etc a lot. When I want information of any topic I ask them the questions. I know full well how they work and that they scrape their knowledge from the internet. I don't know how they do it, but all the scientific papers on the internet even those behind paywalls (most of them) seem to be scraped by the LLM bot's. Most scientific, peer reviewed papers are behind paywalls where a single paper of a half a dozen pages will cost over $100 Australian to down-load, a bloody racket since the majority of them are funded by the government. So if you know how the LLM's work you can get information inaccessible to ordinary people like myself and providing you ask the LLM for the source references and you follow them up you will get a balanced and rational understanding of the topic of interest People believing what they hear and watch on the main stream media are as exposed to as much lies and rubbish as you can get from LLM's, the beauty of LLM's over MSM is that they don't exclude the unacceptable truths that the elites who own the media don't want you to hear.
