AI just stands for Artificial Intelligence. Artificial, as in FAKE. It's *fake* intelligence; it's *computer* intelligence. It's basically electricity that's been directed and and sent on a errand to do the kind of mundane thinking that we don't like doing, and that we take forever to do by ourselves. A.I. IS A TOOL. It's a tool that humans have created, to amplify and speed up mundane calculating that we'd much rather let some bot do for us. A LOT more quickly than we can, because what it's doing is a lot more simple than what our brains have to do to produce thoughts. Knowing this is helpful when determining whether or not something was wholly A.I. generated, or whether a human was involved. A.I. often makes mistakes that would be mind-bogglingly stupid for a human to make. Because A.I. does not really *understand* what it's been tasked to do; it just knows HOW to do it.
