Thee key thing with training AI to do things for us is simple; *"Nothing worth doing is ever easy."*
The corollary however is also true. And this is where corporate cost cutters are not looking forward to their own longevity. Making games, movies, art etc. too easy to save money for themselves will make their products capable of being competed with by very small groups... even by individuals alone, in their spare time. By making their own efforts cheaper and easier, they enable generations of competitors with the main hurdles removed. Short term gains poisons the well they need to survive.
