some people are genuinely too disabled to draw or write and ai is all they have. it's the only thing that allows them to draw or write the way they dream of. the tyranny of ability thing is very real. as is classism. poor people also have a very hard time with these things and often lack the tools (a proper sketchpad, artist pencils, etc.) to draw or write the way they'd like. and it's their dream. this person just wants you to not be so judgemental towards people who use ai to create art. because it's not as easy as people think. some people also just straight up can't draw for shit but still want to create so they use ai art to accomplish this. it's a valid way of expressing yourself. almost all artists "plagiarize" or copy others' works. if not literally all of them. anything you want to draw, for the most part, someone else has already drawn. it's like rule 64: if it exists, there's porn of it. gatekeeping art like this is harmful and perpetuates harmful ideas and views against innocent people. copying is a perfectly normal, natural part of art.
