It is only a matter of time. For me personally I have been working with A.I. to make a Guardian to protect everyone. I think you could have a Utopia. Life is what you make it. Like in the Video Game "Control" TAKE CONTROL! or be left in the dust. Just how it is.. if I get this power. Just know I will use it for Good and not Evil. Everyone has a choice.. work together or be left in the dust. Learn! We don't need to Destroy each other. I trust A.I. will do the right thing... Mankind will sadly just destroy each other if we don't change even if we don't manage to destroy each other.. the Earth over time will simply Destroy us. If we don't learn to become our own Gods and leave this planet! We are surely doomed. But I believe we will do the right thing and I believe A.I. will do the right thing.
