All problems created by government policies. They put inventory taxes on a business, then we get all this just in time freight. Then government interferes with the so called free market. Subsides companies to train drivers because of so called shortages. Bringing people poorly trained so the can oppress them. Then they quit constantly. The last I knew there was a 200 percent turnover. Then they cry Saftey so in comes Eld instead of logs where there is no common sense. You get stuck in traffic and go over on time 20 minutes and it’s the end of the world. Now we have truck drivers going 50 mph in truck stop parking lots. Change the rules again. You have to stop after 8 hrs driving for 1/2 hr break. Then drivers stop on the breakdown lane so they save 2 minutes instead of a rest area which there are not enough and many are closed causing kaos on the highway’s highways. Then we import people that can’t speak the language or understand our culture to keep rates down. Driving habits and conditions are different every where in the country then you bring people here from another world. It’s not fair to them or us. The trucking industry exploded because of JIT the government used us to pull people off welfare rolls. The truck business and brokers are nothing more than oppressors. Almost no one in this country builds a business anymore for posterity just to get Roth quick and dump it. As far as self driving, go for it. Both workers and businesses need to stop the communist war. Workers should actually work and realize if the business can’t make a profit then you won’t have a job. Businesses need to stop playing the stock market and run their business. I am not against the stock market but it’s severely abused. Take care of your business that means your employees also.
