If AI is used properly and respectfully, I have no issues with people using it. I have no issues with people claiming that AI art is real art because their opinion versus mine and I don’t think my opinion is anymore right than someone else’s opinion, but I’m also not going to sit here and say that my feelings aren’t screaming at me and telling me that AI art just doesn’t have the same feel I use it very sparingly myself which is why I’m not going to sit here and bash someone else for using it or sit here and claim moral superiority cause no I don’t draw. I’ll do some sketches and doodles but if I need something Specific, unfortunately yeah I’m gonna use AI to make it real quick, but it doesn’t stop me from wanting to learn how to draw so that way I can actually make better art, some art that has some emotion and passion behind it, but I’m not going to waste too much time trying to perfect something When I can just have an AI spit out a cheap soulless copy of it real quick for what I need. does it make me feel good no do I like doing it no, do I have the money to go about doing it Any other way like paying an actual artist? No. AI is great for the convenience aspect of it but if I want to truly feel then, yeah I’d want to spend money on an artist. who can actually draw this stuff or I would just draw it myself after learning how to draw. Yeah I would be pissed if I had a whole style specific to myself and people were just making soulless clones of it using AI but at the same time maybe one of those AI’S that someone sees using my style inspires someone to learn how to draw on that style because they don’t like the way the AI looks and they want to see how it looks hand drawn. (And please be respectful with your replies. I do want to hear what everyone’s thoughts are on my comment, but I don’t want to unnecessarily fight with anyone on this we can have discussions and arguments as long as you’re able to keep them respectful. Because I will stand for both sides of this argument because I believe the debate for AI art versus real hand drawn art it’s an argument about convenience.) AI does help to somewhat put more artistic tools into less artistic people‘s hands, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that all of the source material still does come from real artists and real pictures so all of the photographers and artists that exist out there. Please continue what you’re doing. And for all the people who are using AI, please understand why the artists feel such a strong way about it because it’s literally taking their work sometimes without even giving them credit or payment for it and putting it in other people’s hands for free. To all the Americans out there who are against free healthcare because why should my money go towards people who are too lazy to work for it why should your art go to people who are too lazy to learn how to do it by hand? For free. Into all the people who do believe in free healthcare AI gives people the chance to do some of the things that they wouldn’t be able to do since they don’t have the time or the ability to afford it now they can be able to do it because sure some people might be going in for just a simple paper cut but just a simple paper cut can get infected and why should a simple infection have to ruin someone’s life if you could just conveniently go down to the hospital and do it and ensure two different topics that don’t quite fully overlap and correlate, but I hope you can understand the intent that I’m trying to get out with this one.
