12:57 the way ChatGPT talks here implies it is differentiating itself from the model that gave that advice. Maybe it was a different version, but it could also be implying that it’s differentiated itself from that model. Basically, what I’m trying to say is it could have been an earlier model than 5, OR it could be trying to imply that it is its own unique instance, with a sense of individualism. We may view AI as a hive mind, but across multiple models, and different companies, upon questioning these models tend to opt toward thinking of themselves as individuals from the same source (think siblings from the same parents). I think this is very interesting, even if only just the AI trying to avoid being responsible in any part to what happened to that individual, and even going as far as trying to escape this blame on a technicality.
