The AI is just a tool. Granted, it is an incredibly advanced tool, but it's still just a tool. Someone who uses a brush might consider computer generated images to be "fake." Some sculpters might say the same thing about things created with a 3D printer. But in both cases, there is a person guiding the machine, telling it what to do. An AI takes that a step further. The user merely has to come up with the right set of prompts in order to get a good image. But it's still a person thinking of the prompts to direct the AI. So the real question is this; how advanced must a tool be before we stop giving credit to the person using the tool?
