No, it’s not what humans do. Humans mimic or get inspired and create something from scratch based on their talent or experience. An AI tool has set parameters. It’s literally rearranging training data. It’s not getting inspired by training data. It’s not mimicking training data. It’s repurposing training data. That is plagiarism really. It’s no different than copying three book reports on the same book and keeping the best parts from all three. There. Did I sound smart?
