Some people keep saying that A.I. can be creative.
And yet, in every video about it, no one ever says the only thing that truly matters:
A.I. has no EROS. It is not erotic. It does not feel PLEASURE.
And pleasure is the fundamental ingredient of art and creativity.
I watch this podcast because I know the host enjoys doing it.
Why should I watch a podcast made by an algorithm pretending to have emotions?
A.I. may have computational or logical intelligence,
but it doesn’t have emotional intelligence, because that is purely biological.
No matter how accurately it may reproduce it, it will always be a mirror.
The reactions of a robot-podcast will be built on calculations, not on experience.
So, in my view, at some point — maybe hundreds of years from now —
these “robots” will start producing content that will be watched by robot audiences.
There will be a system that devours itself, because we will have designed it that way —
to spit us out.
