i think you and all these 'tech people' are not being very honest here. MOST people do not create much value. And they never will. So thinking when Amazon automates all it's warehouses, Mcdonalds automates its restaurants or Waymo removes 1000's of taxi drivers, the people that do those kinds of jobs are not going to just become 'value-creating solopreneurs' is not living in reality. Couple that with a rate of change that is EXPONENTIAL and the fact that these are not the most adaptable workforce types and you have a major jobs and meaning crisis. I see positive outcomes for some but the vast vast majority will suffer. The math just doesn't math.
