I've always said that the industry that stands the most to gain by driverless technology is trucking. Are you kidding me? The driverless industry will not be restricted by regulations that insist that drivers rest, take breaks, have workers comp, etc and will be able to run trucks 24 hours a day. And with the poor shape that the truckers are in right now (please watch the John Oliver episode that addresses this problem) it's going to be easy pickings for the trucking companies. The future is clear and will not be stopped. Sorry, but it's time to look for a new job.
