Raw LLM Responses

Thank you for being the stalwart, dedicated advocate that we need in Congress. You are an example to all members on how to look out for working people. As for AI/LLMs, given what I've seen of their rollout for public use, it's been a joke. They're faulty and scrape all sorts of random data, not to mention the fact that they essentially plagiarize all written, visual, and audio media, thus robbing the original creators of recognition and credit. The fact that search engines make this the dominant mode now is distressing, especially when searching for very specific things that may have similar names but totally unrelated contexts. The algorithms also can generate wrong answers or false information, which only people who already have related knowledge would catch. I find my students hitting snags with this a lot, but that doesn't matter to the big tech companies. In education, data shows that scores have been dropping every year since we moved to using laptops/tablets as the primary medium of learning. They dropped significantly, along with students motivation and satisfaction. There are differences between learning through discussion, collaboration, and physical process, versus just going through software lessons. Teachers bring additional perspective and interpersonal interactions to students learning experiences, something unique that screens or robots can't provide. Our kids need connections with others, especially mentoring adults, who can model being human, something IMO Elon and the others missed. As for robot teaching assistants, that might be a delightful novelty to some students, but I guarantee that some real world kid having a bad day would short circuit that prop. And, the thought of having them as assists for those with disabilities or as nurses....Please! Those are situations where we need human care and compassion, but most aids, LVNs are criminally underpaid. These billionaires want to create a two tiered society, where they have all the toys and cookies. They don't care what happens to us, that's why healthcare, retirement, housing, etc, is being cut. They're not saying it, but anyone not useful to them can just die. We can't let this happen. Those abetting it need to be recalled and primaried. Enough already.
