You can keep drawing the old style or learn how to program and feed an AI to get actually custom results. The process and human touch is still there, its just that, like when swaping to digital many people just couldnt afford the new tools or didnt wanna learn the new tech (art software and stuff), many modern artist dont wanna learn the new tech (which, in this case, might be a bit of programming), but there are already artists using the AI to create their truly custom art, feeding the algorithm with their own designs
Its still a tool, people, just more powerful. Can create more, but its also harder to master.
