Ai technically steals pieces of art from others if posted on some platform, meaning if you had posted your art, it may had been taken by someone else to use for their ai ‘art’. Technically that is stealing, as you are taking pieces of others works to yourself to make, literal garbage. And isn’t it also illegal to steal, so in that same mindset, you could legally get them to stop using your art if you are aware, and they had publically stated online (digital footprint), you can use legal forces to get them to stop using their art because of copyright. This is something I just thought of, I could be entirely wrong, just a theory. Ai is not art, ai is garbage and genuinely ruining the planet more than others are already.
