i just thought of something watching this, one thing that could actually work is a law that says companies that are a certain size just straight up aren’t allowed to replace too many people with robots and ai like at once or just in general, just because if they did it’d be such a disaster and the only downside to that law would be that the big companies don’t get a big savings boost and they just have to be mostly like they already are, and they don’t have to worry about competing with other people doing it, that seems like if it was actually passed and made it would pretty much work, except companies could just outsource to other countries that do ai and we lose jobs anyway maybe that’s the problem with that but i haven’t heard about that idea anywhere
