I'm still going to argue that AI isn't the problem. We are. AI is just a tool. The billionaires will look to leverage that tool. We ultimately still have all the power. If we don't like what our local telecom company is doing by firing all of its customer service people in favor of AI, we have the power to just drop them. We don't need Apple. We don't need Facebook. We don't need ChatGPT. We choose to continue to support the businesses that are queueing up to fuck us. We elect officials who support it. We can stop it and if we want this to stop we'll have to stop it. We just won't.
