This is an exponentially changing (read growing) technology. Robots will be coming for the AI resistant jobs of today. What is true today will be shelved into the archives of history in almost no time. Human brains are not wired to deal with exponential change. There is a volcano under our feet and it will be erupting, it is just a question of when. Any plans you make today will be superseded by events tomorrow. Companies care about profits to the exclusion of all else, and with increasing minimum wage demands it only drives companies harder to get rid of employees, especially at the entry level. Whatever lies on the other side of this singularity event horizon is not predictable. In a very real way it is like our civilization has been invaded by an alien species. It is going to be a bumpy ride at the very least heading into the future. I'll be 75 this year, so the ones I am most worried about are my grandkids who will be entering the workforce within a decade.
