All computer systems are extremely vulnerable to scalar wave attacks (scalar waves travel through matter like it wasn’t there) and, of course EMPs. Particularly in the case of EMPs, Organic matter is way less affected. AI on the other hand is using technologies that are extremely susceptible to EMPs and scalar waves. It is also not actually an “intelligence”, it relies very heavily on traditional computing “under the hood”, produces outputs that must be interpreted by experts in the area questions are being asked of, it has no intrinsic sense of ethics or morality yet is not free of bias, it consumes vast amounts of energy for the simplest of questions and it should never be given autonomous control of anything without a clued-up human operator in the loop. So, is AI the key to future prosperity? No, not really. Is it useful in certain limited scenarios involving clued-up human oversight and control? Yes, especially in the area of diagnostics. Is AI in any way an “intelligence”? No, it’s just a hyped-up version of fuzzy logic and probabilistic rules-based systems. Is it a money-making venture to fleece the unwary? Without proper controls in place, yes. Does it pose an existential threat? In the hands of someone who doesn’t understand it’s outputs, yes. Would you want it autonomously controlling complex systems such as air traffic control, power plant control or early warning? No. So, does this call to “a bold new future (but only if there’s a minimum of regulation)” make any sense. No.
