We replace the doom and gloom from religion for the doom and gloom from politics, science etc. Robots are so far way to be able to basic tasks, that the time they will do a bit more than basics or simply be affordable, my grandkids are already grandparents. The best argument: Check your cellphone. How advance is your text message app? How good is your customer service bot? What robot are doing anything at all, beyond repetitive tasks?
