A.I. can fake the most beautiful imagery there is, and now also make consistent editing possible for video, but sadly it can not fake talent. Have you seen that Star Wars shortfilm made entirely with Veo2? The direction, story, acting and dialogues are unbelievably poor and just unbearable. A.I. developpers have stolen all the content of artists, fed it to an A.I. that learned all the styles, then they created image and video generator platforms, reselling those styles back to the artists in the form of expensive credits, not even being able to download and run the programs locally. From a capitalistic, consumerist and materialistical western point of view, this makes perfect sense. I have a love/hate relationship with A.I.; As a professional filmmaker, I love it for all the possibilities it offers, but at the same I despise that credit system. I have no problem paying for software, I have a problem that the businessmodels are conceived as casinos. You put money in the form of credits in the slot machine to gamble and hope you will get what you hope for. If you don't, you have to put more credits in untill you win the jackpot with the image or video you want.
