Styles are not copy writable and never have been as far as my research on the topic goes. The other thing to consider is that most of the art comes from already dead artists - so there is no infringement there. And no specific painting or piece of artwork is copied. There is nothing in this new technology that is unethical. We went from horse drawn carriages to automobiles. People in the Sign Industry used to letter signs by hand - some still do - but the majority have moved on to using computer machinery to produce font styles. If an artist studies great masters and emulates their favorite artists to learn - that is all this AI is doing. And if you ban the public from available AI - that leaves the largest corporations in charge of this technology. Disgruntled artist do not have a leg to stand on ethically, morally, or legally. Have you heard of the word "Luddite"? Those who oppose this new technology are by definition "Luddites".
